Notes on Bankruptcy…

from July 9, 2008

Bankruptcy is surrender… The end of the old, beginning of the new.  Use negative emotions to learn that I’m bankrupt which will allow me to surrender.  A surrender is a by-product of many realizations.

I’m already pissed… You just give me a chance to vent.  I feel everything or I feel nothing.  I have to want to feel and then I have to be able to feel not so severely.

Emotional regulation comes from God.  Can I look for the moments in my life without taking my whole life with me?

I just went thru this moments ago. I have been mind racing for many days and for two days I have thought; will this end? Finally I was at the jumping off place -I thought I will just sabotage my life and live in the the streets. Then, whooosh the negativity was washed away. I had surrendered! It was a clear cut example of having to hit bottom before a change could take place. I feel and saw the change as clear as day- the end of the old and the beginning of the new that pain is the touchstone to all spiritual growth rings true.

    thanks for posting!
